SUREXPOSITION goes beneath the surface of the new premises for the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson and Fondation François Sommer, with its renowned Museum of Hunting and Nature. Designed by Lobjoy-Bouvier-Boisseau Architecture, the building on Paris’ 79 rue des Archives will be both exhibition space and archive, place of work and public space. As well as serving two foundations, the project has been conceived with twin objectives: to highlight and protect, show but not strip bare, conserve the Marais while adding a contemporary touch, this is the tour de force related by SUREXPOSITION, an exhibition presented by Lobjoy-Bouvier-Boisseau at La Galerie d’Architecture in Paris from January 30th.
From 15 to 19 November 2018, Paris will welcom PARI, the 4th Biennale of the Network of Houses of Architecture. After Strasbourg, Marseille and Nantes, this 4th edition sets out to explore the major challenges of the 21st century and to witness a “new architecture” that bets on transversality, collaboration, awareness, residence, or even co-construction. The program will include a major exhibition, conferences, films, debates, children’s workshops, architectural walks, performances and parties. An open call has been made by the curatorial team for the main exhibition. www.paribiennale.com SAVE THE DATE!
