The tallest 100% timber frame building of France will be completed in May 2019 in Strasbourg. Designed by French architects KOZ for the developper Bouygues Immobilier, the project is part of the Deux-Rives cross-border axis — a major urban development zone which establishes the link between Strasbourg in France and Kehl in Germany. The eleven stories apartment building is entirely made of wood, a material found in its structure, its floorings, its facades and up to the core of its vertical circulation. The press visit of this pilot project will take place on Wednesday, 21. March 2019 in the company of the architect Christophe Ouhayoun from the studio KOZ, the client Bouygues Immobilier and the planning authority the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg.
